By hauling of the line (3) the line is passing through the fishing protector (2) and the catch is hooked off inside the fishing protector (2). An opening and closing mechanism (11) at a first termination (12) of the fishing protector closes the opening (9) through which the fish passed, avoiding fish to escape.
