Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kabine zum Dampfbaden von Personen, in die während des Betriebes Frischluft eingelassen und Abluft abgeführt wird und dabei zumindest zeitweise Dampf und gleichzeitig oder abwechselnd Schaum eingelassen werden, so dass die darin befindlichen Personen gleichzeitig in Dampf und in Schaum gebadet werden. Das gleichzeitige Baden von Personen in Dampf und in Schaum dient der körperlichen Entspannung und der Reinigung der Haut. Beansprucht wird auch ein Verfahren zum Betrieb der Kabine. Der Schaum wird dabei in den unteren Teil der Kabine und der Dampf in den oberen Teil der Kabine eingelassen.
