PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for an adhesive skin patch, capable of achieving excellent cohesion and skin adhesiveness at a high level.
SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for the adhesive skin patch includes rubber elastomer and a tackifier whose weight average molecular weight is 1200-2500. Because of this characteristic, both excellent cohesion and skin adhesiveness can be achieved at a high level. In this way, by using the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for the adhesive skin patch to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the adhesive skin patch or adhesive preparation, the adhesiveness to the skin is improved, and the paste left on the skin surface when the adhesive skin patch is removed is reduced. Further, leaving of the paste in a mold release film from the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer at the time of manufacture or at the time of use and the floating of the mold release film can be inhibited, and re-application of the adhesive skin patch to the skin is possible.
