The present invention relates to novel compositions of therapeuticcyclodextrin containing polymeric compounds designed as a carrier for smallmolecule therapeutics delivery and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. Inparticular, the therapeutic/bioactive agents are covalently bound to thecyclodextrin-containing polymers. These cyclodextrin-containing polymersimprove drug stability and solubility, and reduce toxicity of the smallmolecule therapeutic when used in vivo. Furthermore, by selecting from avariety of linker groups and targeting ligands the polymers present methodsfor controlled delivery of the therapeutic agents. The invention also relatesto methods of treating subjects with the therapeutic compositions describedherein. The invention further relates to methods for conducting pharmaceuticalbusiness comprising manufacturing, licensing, or distribution kits containingor relating to the polymeric compounds described herein.
