The present invention provides a vegetation structure (300) comprising a plurality of vegetation ports (100) formed in a vegetation plate (200) at intervals, thereby the top of each of the vegetation ports is opened and the vegetation ports are recessed toward a lower portion of the vegetation plate (200), wherein vegetation is present in the vegetation port (100), and the vegetation port (100) has a space accommodating water. Moreover, the present invention provides a construction method of the vegetation structure. Thus, germination rate in an initial stage can be improved and loss of water can be minimized. In addition, various plants can be easily arranged and density can be easily adjusted. The vegetation structure also can be easily installed.본 발명은 식생판(200)의 내측에 간격을 두고 복수가 형성됨과 아울러, 상단이 개방되고, 식생판(200)의 하부방향으로 함몰된 구조로 설치되는 식생포트(100);를 포함하며, 식생포트(100)의 내부에는 식생이 형성되고, 수분이 저장되는 공간이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 식생 구조물(300) 및 그 시공방법을 제시함으로써, 초기 발아율이 향상되며, 수분 손실이 최소화되도록 식생여건을 갖추고, 규격화된 식생포트를 통해 다양한 초종 배치 및 밀도의 조정이 용이하고, 설치가 매우 용이하도록 한다.
