PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide for a fishing line and a fishing rod, quickly coping with a case where a guide ring is damaged, and used as a light-weight fishing rod by replacing the guide ring with a light-weight one.SOLUTION: This guide for a fishing line includes: the guide ring 6 forming a penetrating hole 6A for penetrating a fishing line and a guide body 7 provided with a fitting hole 7F formed for the guide ring 6, wherein an attach and detach mechanism is formed extending over the edge of the fitting hole 7F and the outer peripheral surface of the guide ring 6, and the attach and detach mechanism includes: a female screw part formed on the edge of the fitting hole 7F and a male screw part formed on the outer peripheral surface of the guide ring 6.
