The connectable catheter system, comprising: an intermediary catheter and a reconnectable indwelling stent wherein the intermediary catheter and the indwelling stent are configured to connect, within a subject body to form a continuous fluid conduit between the intermediary catheter and the reconnectable indwelling stent and to further allow controlled release of substances and/or heating of internal target regions.
