PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exemplary system, process and method for imaging of anatomical structures and particularly for detection and imaging of atherosclerosis or atherosclerotic plaques.SOLUTION: A method comprises: providing 210 an indocyanine green (ICG) reagent as an imaging reagent to an anesthetized 200 blood vessel； keeping the ICG reagent bound to plasma protein in plaques and walls of the blood vessel； acquiring optical data with angiography to determine the presence of angiogenesis, inflammation, plaques, etc.【課題】解剖学的構造物のイメージング、特にはアテローム性動脈硬化またはアテローム斑を検出、イメージングするための例示的なシステム、手順及び方法の提供。【解決手段】麻酔をかけた２００血管にイメージング試薬としてインドシアニングリーン（ＩＣＧ）試薬を供給し２１０，血管の壁及びプラークの血漿タンパクと結合させてＩＣＧ試薬を保持した後，血管造影法にて光学データを取得し，血管新生，炎症，プラーク等の存在を決定づける方法。【選択図】図２
