The rotor is mounted in two magnetic axial bearings distanced from one another in an axial direction of the rotor. A position of the stator relative to a reference surface, against which a component rests, is established exclusively by a single positioning element arranged between the laminated core of the stator and the reference surface. A stationary part of a first magnetic axial bearing of the two magnetic axial bearings is integrated in the component.
