A transgenic animal model that is suitable for the cell or tissue specific assessing of thyroid hormone (TH) action in vivo is described. The recombinant DNA construct and methods suitable to generate such an animal are also provided. The assessment of TH action is based on a reporter that is dependent on an endogenously expressed thyroid hormone receptor (TR) and coregulators of said receptor.L'invention concerne un modèle animal transgénique qui est approprié pour l'évaluation spécifique de cellule ou de tissu d'action d'hormone thyroïdienne (TH) in vivo. L'invention concerne également une construction d'ADN recombinant et des procédés appropriés pour générer un tel animal. L'évaluation d'action TH est basée sur un rapporteur qui dépend d'un récepteur d'hormone thyroïdienne (TR) exprimé de manière endogène et de co-régulateurs dudit récepteur.
