PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a model animal of abdominal pressure urinary incontinence, a method for screening a test specimen using the model animal and a more excellent method for detecting an abdominal pressure urinary incontinence in a subject animal.
SOLUTION: A medicine having an action of topically relaxing a skeletal muscle on the circumference of non-human mammalian pelvic floor muscle or sphincter muscle to produce a model animal. The method for detecting an abdominal pressure urinary incontinence comprises causing irritation in a subject animal to raise an abdominal pressure, confirming a rise in the abdominal pressure of the animal and measuring a time from the rise in the abdominal pressure to a urination.
