PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic which improves appearance (reduces oil film and oil droplet) and a sense of use (reduces sticky feeling), has an excellent emulsion property, and to provide also a method for producing the cosmetic.SOLUTION: A cosmetic is provided which includes (A) an aqueous phase, (B) an oil phase, (C-1) polycondensation polymer particles which have a hydroxy group and into which a hydrophobic group is partly introduced and/or (C-2) a closed vesicle containing α, ω-difatty acid triamino acid salt and a hydrophobic low molecular weight compound taken in between fatty acid groups of the α, ω-difatty acid triamino acid salt. The cosmetic preferably contains higher alcohols.
