The invention relates to the novel piperidino-dihydrothienopyrimidines offormula(I) and to the pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, wherein Xrepresents SO orSO2, preferably however SO, and wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are defined as inclaim 1.The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing saidcompounds.The novel piperidino-dihydrothienopyrimidines are suitable for use in thetreatment ofrespiratory or gastrointestinal disorders or diseases, inflammatory diseasesof the joints,the skin or the eyes, diseases of the peripheral or central nervous system orcancers.
