A suture capturing device configured to attain multiple preset orientations, comprising: a handle a hollow shaft coupled to said handle a rigid needle element configured with a hook for catching a suture and where the needle element is operatively coupled to the hollow shaft opposite the handle and configured to be slidable in a first direction to assume an open orientation where the hook is exposed relative to the hollow shaft and in a second direction to assume a closed orientation where the hook is not exposed relative to the hollow shaft.Linvention concerne un dispositif de capture de suture configuré pour obtenir de multiples orientations prédéfinies, comprenant : une poignée une tige creuse accouplée à ladite poignée un élément daiguille rigide conçu avec un crochet pour accrocher une suture, et lélément daiguille étant accouplé de façon fonctionnelle à la tige creuse à lopposé de la poignée et conçu pour pouvoir coulisser dans une première direction pour adopter une orientation ouverte, dans laquelle le crochet est exposé par rapport à la tige creuse, et dans une seconde direction pour adopter une orientation fermée dans laquelle le crochet nest pas exposé par rapport à la tige creuse.
