A blood storage container suitable for quick and efficient production of a large amount of serum while ensuring high safety, a method of separating blood and a regenerative medical process using the same, and a serum preparation apparatus are provided. A blood component separator is provided, which separates collected blood into a plurality of blood components and preserves them, and includes a blood reservoir and a component storage part aseptically connected in an air-tight manner. The blood reservoir has a serum producing function to remove coagulation factors from the blood. The component storage part stores each blood component in the blood reservoir. The serum preparation apparatus includes an indwelling needle, a catheter having one end connected to a base end side of the indwelling needle, a syringe capable of storing blood connected to another end of the catheter, and a blood coagulation accelerating substance stored in the syringe.
