The invention relates to the use of polyvinyl lactam-polyvinyl acetate block copolymers as solubilizers for agrochemical active ingredients that are sparingly soluble in water, wherein at least 30 g of water is required per g of said active ingredient(s) at 20°C. Besides, the invention comprises a composition of agrochemical active ingredients comprising polyvinyl lactam-polyvinyl acetate block copolymers. The invention also relates to a method of controlling undesired insect or mite attack on plants and/or for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and a method to a method of controlling undesired plant growth, in which said composition is used.
