The device (10) has an electronic module (32) near an intra-oral sensor (14) and connected to the sensor by a cable (34) for transmitting an analog electric output signal from the sensor to the module. A remote digital output signal visualization and processing unit (54) is connected to the module comprising an analog to digital converter to convert the analog electric output signal into digital output signal. An independent claim is also included for processing a signal in a dental radiography device.
