PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical long body, a medical device, and a medical method in a technique of assisting delivery of a catheter in a living body lumen using a medical long body having an expansion member, in which insertion resistance of the catheter to the living body lumen can be reduced, and positional deviation of the expansion member to the catheter can be prevented.SOLUTION: An expansion member 140 of a medical long body 100 comprises: a tip taper part 143； a base end taper part 145； and an intermediate part 146 arranged between the tip taper part 143 and the base end taper part 145.
