The group of inventions relates to the field of medical technology, more particularly to catheters, and even more particularly to balloon catheters, and can be used for endovascular recanalization in the case of chronic occlusions of the coronary and peripheral arteries. The present device for carrying out the recanalization of an occluded vessel is configured in the form of a balloon catheter having, along its entire length, a channel for a guide and also a channel for inflating the balloon. According to a first design variant, the balloon is pear-shaped. The shorter distal portion of said balloon is situated close to the outlet of the guide channel, is rounded and is made of an elastic material, which can be pierced by the guide. The longer proximal portion of the balloon is tube-shaped and is made of a non-stretchable, dense material which cannot be pierced by the guide. According to a second design variant, the balloon is made of an elastic material, which can be pierced by the guide, and has a distal portion, situated close to the outlet of the guide channel, and a proximal portion. Part of the balloon at the proximal end is covered by a sheath, which is tube-shaped and is made of a non-stretchable, dense material which cannot be pierced by the guide.
