Disclosed is a method for producing an evaporable material comprising plant fibers, which is used in a steam generating device that generates steam by heating an evaporable material. The method includes reducing the particle size of the plant fibers to at least 1.5 mm and mixing plant fibers in at least two particle size ranges.
