PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide most critical assessment of the impact and utility of fixed dosing of a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody on pharmacokinetics and target drug concentrations.SOLUTION: In a first aspect, the invention provides a method for treating cancer comprising administering one or more fixed doses of a HER antibody, such as pertuzumab to a human patient in an amount effective to treat the cancer.
