There is provided herein a kit for treating a treatment area in a vasculature of a patient. The kit comprises a guidewire having a portion for positioning at or near the treatment area and a portion with first markings perceptible by the clinician without fluoroscopy. Each of the first markings is representative of a length from a first starting point on the guidewire. The kit also comprises a catheter having a shaft with a portion for positioning at the treatment area and a portion with second markings perceptible by the clinician without fluoroscopy. Each of the second markings is representative of a length from a second starting point of the catheter. A distance between the first starting point and each of the first markings corresponds to a distance between the second starting point and each of the second markings. The catheter comprises a balloon and the second predetermined starting point is located at a proximal or distal end of the balloon.
