PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery system which can effectively reduce the outside diameter of a stent at the time of folding a balloon and mounting it to the stent.SOLUTION: A stent delivery system comprises: a balloon 30 which is expandable when fluid flows into its inside and overlaps in layer when being folded on the outer peripheral surface of a long inner tube 60 and a stent comprising a plurality of annuli 71a and 71b which are annularly formed with a wire and which are arranged in the axis line direction of the annular shape, and a plurality of connections 72 connecting neighboring ones of the annuli 71a and 71b, the stent being disposed on the circumference of the balloon 30 such that all the connections 72 are located in a minimum layer part 38 where the overlaps of the balloon 30 are fewest.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】バルーンを折り畳んでステントにマウントした際の外径を効果的に小さくできるステントデリバリーシステムを提供する。【解決手段】内部に流体が流入することで膨張可能であって長尺な内管60の外周面に折り畳まれて層状に重なるバルーン30と、線材が環状に形成されて環の軸線方向に並ぶ複数の環状部71a,71bおよび隣接する環状部71a,71b同士を接続する複数の接続部72を備え、接続部72の全てがバルーン30の重なり枚数が最も少ない最少層部38上に位置するようにバルーン30の外周に配置されるステントとを有するステントデリバリーシステムである。【選択図】図3
