PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird and animal repellent device that prevents birds and animals not only from flying to enter but also from walking to enter a building.SOLUTION: The device prevents birds and animals from entering through a gateway provided in a building, the device being provided with: an oblong attachment base plate that is attached to the upper edge of the gateway a flash generating part comprising a plurality of numbers of flash lights that are provided on the base plate so as to emit a flash to the front of the gateway a laser generating part that is provided on the base plate so as to diffusively irradiate the ground surface at the gateway with a laser beam and a circuit for controlling the flash generating part and the laser generating part.
