The present invention relates to the use of 1,2-derivatives of fatty acids in the treatment or prevention of diseases the common aetiology whereof is based on alterations (having any origin) of the lipids of the cell membrane such as, for example, alterations in the level, in the composition or in the structure of said lipids.
