The vision fixation system projects vision fixation light into an eye of a subject. The data acquisition unit uses optical coherence tomography to scan the eye of the subject into which the vision fixation light is being projected, to acquire data. The analysis unit analyzes the data to identify the position of a prescribed region of the eye of the subject.
