PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition, a hyaluronic acid decomposition inhibitor, a skin chapping- or skin dryness-preventing agent and a cosmetic, each expectable of preventive and therapeutic effect on diseases followed by abnormal decomposition of hyaluronic acid, gingivitis, xeroderma, chapped skin, dried skin, and the like in which hyaluronic acid decomposition is physiologically enhanced, compared with normal conditions, and directly acting on fibroblast.
SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition, the hyaluronic acid decomposition inhibitor, the skin chapping- or the skin dryness-preventing agent, and the cosmetic each include an extract of Tricholoma orirubens or specific compounds contained in Tricholoma orirubens.
