The present invention relates to a band capable of protecting a wound for longer time by having a groove therein along an edge thereof. In general, a band easily tears to rags due to foreign materials on an edge thereof, and a wound cannot be safely protected for a long time from the outside. However, a band can be easily used by a user who uses his/her hand much, and a band can be normally used for a long time without being abused, so economical feasibility and convenience are ensured. To this end, the present invention provides a band which is hygienic because foreign materials sticking to an edge of a hard badge are detached along with a part in the outside of a groove. The band according to the present invention has a groove therein along an edge thereof, so the edge can be more easily detached by using the groove when foreign materials stick on the edge.
