PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed growth control method capable of preventing weeds from intruding into a space where weed intrusion should be avoided by controlling growth of weeds.SOLUTION: The weed growth control method includes: applying ultraviolet light to a weed intrusion avoidance space where the weed intrusion should be avoided so as to control growth of weeds growing outside the weed intrusion avoidance space and prevent the weed intrusion into the weed intrusion avoidance space.
