PURPOSE: A five-way step valve is provided to reduce material costs and the number of components as a refrigerant is supplied through four discharge holes using two pads which are respectively formed in two driven gears.CONSTITUTION: A five-way step valve comprises a housing, a stepping motor, a driving gear, and an opening and closing unit. The housing comprises an inlet hole, first to fourth discharge holes connected to first to fourth drainage pipes, and a storage chamber for refrigerants. The stepping motor is installed on one side of the housing. As to the driving gear, the shaft of the stepping motor is installed at the center of the housing, and rotates with being connected to the shaft.
