A therapeutic compression apparatus includesa liner having a tubular body portion with a proximalopening for receiving a limb of a patient. The tubularbody portion includes an inside region with an insidecircumference that is sized to extend about and in contactwith the limb. The inside circumference is substantiallyidentical to a circumference of the limb at a respective areaof contact. The tubular body portion includes an outsideregion having an outside circumference that varies from theinside circumference at respective cross-sections throughthe tubular body.
