PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive exercise apparatus allowing a user to contract the muscle of the whole leg even in a seated posture on a chair.SOLUTION: The passive exercise apparatus 1 is installed at the feet of the user 5 seated on the chair 4. The passive exercise apparatus 1 includes a foot support base 2 supporting the users feet, and a driving device for driving the foot support base 2 by driving force generated by a drive source. The driving device has a swing mechanism for moving the foot support base 2 through a trajectory so that the foot support base 2 located at the feet of the user 5 in a knee bent posture is separated from a floor face as it moves forward. The swing mechanism moves the foot support base 2 like a pendulum based on the knee position of the user 5. The user 5 can raise and lower the feet while bending and stretching the knees when seated on the chair 4, to extend/contract muscle groups in the thighs.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】椅子に座ったままの姿勢でも利用者に脚部全体の筋収縮を伴う運動をさせることができる他動運動機器を提供する。【解決手段】他動運動機器1は、椅子4に座った利用者5の足元に設置される。他動運動機器1は、利用者の足を支持する足支持台2と、駆動源が発生する駆動力によって足支持台2を駆動する駆動装置とを備えている。駆動装置は、膝を曲げた姿勢の利用者5の足元に位置する足支持台2が前方に移動するほど床面から離れるような軌跡を通して、足支持台2を移動させるスイング機構を有している。スイング機構は、利用者5の膝の位置を中心として足支持台2を振り子のように移動させる。これにより、利用者5は、椅子4に座ったままの姿勢で、膝の屈伸を伴って足を上げ下げする運動を行うことができるので、大腿部の筋群が伸縮する。【選択図】図1
