The control unit acquires a motion contrast acquired by an OCT unit that detects an OCT signal of measurement light reflected from the patients eye and reference light corresponding to the measurement light, acquires irradiation target information based on the motion contrast, and controls the irradiation unit so as to irradiate the patient's eye with the laser light, based on the irradiation target information.
