In one aspect, a method includes: obtaining a first contrast image sequence collected by a X-ray detector of a DSA system at a first position; obtaining a flow path of a contrast medium by analyzing the first contrast image sequence; when the contrast medium is about to flow out of a collection area of the X-ray detector according to the flow path, controlling the X-ray detector to move to a second position, so that the contrast medium remains within the collection area; when the X-ray detector is located at the second position, obtaining a virtual mask image based on a last frame of the first contrast image sequence and a first frame of a second contrast image sequence collected by the X-ray detector at the second position; and generating a DSA image sequence by using the virtual mask image.
