The present invention relates to an antioxidative and skin-whitening cosmetic composition containing an extract of phragmites rhizome, Salicornia herbacea, and Japanese apricot. According to the present invention, the antioxidative and skin-whitening cosmetic composition comprises: a lyophilized mixture of an ethanol extract for each of the dried powder of phragmites rhizome, Salicornia herbacea, and Japanese apricot, especially a fraction of ethylacetate extract for the lyophilized ethanol extract of phragmites rhizome and a lyophilized ethanol extract mixture of Japanese apricot. The composition of the present invention exhibits excellent antioxidative and skin-whitening activity.
