Es wird ein Verfahren zur Implantation von modularen Prothesen und modulare Prothesen beschrieben, das bzw. die dadurch gekennzeichnet sind, daß mindestens ein Modul als Halterung (33, 34) dienend derart implantiert wird, daß es auf Dauer verankert bleibt und daß ein oder mehrere austauschbare Module (31, 32) mit den Halterungsmodulen (33, 34) lösbar, z.B. mittels Schrauben (35) verbunden werden derart, daß sie postoperativ bzw. bei einem zweiten oder dritten Eingriff entfernt bzw. ausgetauscht werden können, ohne die Halterungsmodule entfernen zu müssen.The invention relates to a method for implanting modular prostheses and modular prostheses.
