PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice planting assisting tool capable of planting rice even when the mud of the rice field is slightly tightened. SOLUTION: The rice transplanting assisting tool 1 includes a main body 10 in which one end of the main body 10 has a cylindrical shape and is open. Two cutouts 11b are formed, and the first cutouts 11a function as a holding portion for sandwiching and holding the rice seedlings, and the inner space of the tip of the main body 10 accommodates the roots of the seedlings. The second cutout 11b functions as the storage chamber 12, and functions as a mud intrusion part for allowing the mud of the rice field to enter the storage chamber 12.
