PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook keeper to which an offset hook and a sinker can be also engaged, in addition to a fish hook whose needle tip is protruded.SOLUTION: A hook keeper 3 can be attached to the fishing reel and comprises an engagement part 31 and a holding part 32. The engagement part 31 has: a hole 311 penetrating the engagement part 31； and a slit 312 penetrating from the hole 311 to an external face of the engagement part 31, and reaching from one end face of the engagement part 31 in a center axis direction of the hole 311 to the other end face.
