A method of alleviating a symptom of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis in a human patient suffering from relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis or a patient who has experienced a first clinical episode and is determined to be at high risk of developing clinically definite multiple sclerosis comprising administering to the human patient three subcutaneous injections of a therapeutically effective dose of glatiramer acetate over a period of seven days with at least one day between every subcutaneous injection so as to thereby alleviate the symptom of the patient.본 발명에서는, 재발-완화형 다발성 경화증(relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis)으로 고통받는 환자 또는 일차 임상적 에피소드(episode)를 경험하고 임상적 확진 다발성 경화증이 발생할 위험이 있는 환자를 치료하는데 이용하기 위한, 글라티라머 아세테이트를 포함하는 약제로서, 상기 약제는 40㎎ 용량의 글라티라머 아세테이트를 포함하고, 상기 약제는 매 피하 주사 간에 적어도 1일을 둔 상태에서 매주 3회 피하 주사 요법을 위하여 제조되며, 상기 약제는 5.5 내지 8.5 범위의 pH를 지니는 약제학적 조성물인 것인 약제가 제공된다.
