PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise caused by a trim cutter in a brush cutter. SOLUTION: The brush cutter is operated by an operating rod, a cord holder which is rotationally driven at a front end of the operating rod, a cord holder which is held by the cord holder, and a tip of which extends from the cord holder, and rotates together with the cord holder. And a trim cutter for cutting the extra length of the cord. The trim cutter has a front end provided with a cutting edge and a rear end located on the opposite side with respect to the direction in which the cord rotates. The trim cutter is disposed so as to be inclined with respect to the tangent line of the region where the cord rotates so that the distance from the region where the cord rotates becomes larger at the rear end than at the front end.
