PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly extract a quantity of liquid sterilant to be used in a sterilization process from a cartridge containing the liquid sterilant.SOLUTION: The liquid sterilant is extracted from the cartridge, and after the liquid sterilant passing through the passage way is detected, a gas is introduced into the passage way.
