The invention discloses a plant stem supporting device and apparatus and a related method, which can be adapted for use in a variety of plant types that require arched support in areas in case where there is concern of breakage as a result of change in the stem's direction of growth. The device and apparatus enable the plant to continue to grow freely without adjusting its trellising from an elevated horizontal cable above a certain height. The device prevents breakage of the stem caused at the highest point of support to the stem, when the weight of the free part causes it to tilt downwards. The supporting device is connected to a trellis wire system which is capable to support the plant, enabling it to grow freely while prolonging significantly its growing time period, maximizing its yield and minimizing the required sustaining treatments for both the plant and the corresponding trellising system.
