PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance certainty in a sterilization process and to shorten the time necessary for the sterilization process in an isolator.
SOLUTION: The isolator 100 includes: a working chamber 10 a supply HEPA filter 20 a sterilization substance supplying part 30 and a supply passage 70 not passing through a filter, for performing communication between the sterilization substance supply part 30 and the gas flow downstream side of the supply HEPA filter 20 a supply passage 72 passing through the filter, for performing communication between the sterilization substance supply part 30 and the gas flow upstream side of the supply HEPA filter 20 a circulation passage 80 for returning hydrogen peroxide gas supplied to the working chamber 10 to the sterilization substance supply part 30 a three-way valve 90 for performing switching between the filter-not-using supply passage 70 and the filter-using supply passage 72 and a control part 300. The control part 300 controls the three-way valve 90 so as to perform switching into the supply passage 70 not passing through the filter in a first mode for sterilizing the working chamber 10, and into the supply passage 72 passing through the filter in a second mode for sterilizing the working chamber 10 and the supply HEPA filter 20.
