A selective sorting machine is disclosed for berry crops consisting of healthy, ripe, whole, unripe, shattered, overripe, botrytized, crushed or burst berries, leaves, stalks, various debris and sticky juice. The machine includes a supply system (3, 4, 5) suitable for feeding the crop to a vision system (6, 7, 8, 9). The supply system is fitted to spread the crop in a single layer, align, individually isolate and move the components at a regulated speed so the crop components pass individually through the vision system. The vision system includes an artificial vision device (6) capable of acquiring images of the crop components as they exit the supply system and a lighting system (7) for illuminating the crop components. The vision system is configured to individualize and recuperate in space each element to control a selective separating system (10) via a processing device (8). The processing device (8) is capable of analysing the images to recognize and differentiate the components on the basis of pre-established criteria. The selective separating system (10) then separates healthy, ripe and whole berries from the other crop components.
