PURPOSE: An octagon and cross stair type artificial reef is provided to prevent the overturn of the artificial fish reef, and to prevent a fish net from being caught in the artificial fish reef. CONSTITUTION: An octagon and cross stair type artificial reef comprises: a weight rim base(20) which touches the bottom of sea； a stair unit(30) which is formed with multiple stairs in which a seed rope is installed； and a central plane unit(40) in which the seed rope is installed. The weight rim base, the stair unit, and the central plane unit are formed of a concrete material and a steel member.본 발명은 중량림베이스가 구비된 팔각십자계단형 인공어초에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 중앙에 공간이 형성되어 해저면이 바닥을 이루게 하고 소정의 두께를 갖는 테두리의 림부분을 이루어 테두리의 림부분 아래가 해저면에 넓게 접하는 광폭팔각중량림베이스와 광폭팔각중량림베이스의 사방면에서 중앙으로 다수의 층계를 이루며, 개별 층계에 해조류의 모조, 포자가 이식된 종사줄이 설치되는 십자종사줄계단부와 함께 사방의 십자형으로 이루어진 십자종사줄계단부의 중앙에 위치되어 평활면을 이루어 해조류의 모조, 포자가 이식된 종사줄이 설치되는 중앙상평활부를 포함하는 팔각십자계단형 인공어초에 관한 것이다.
