PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for imparting a secondary coil shape in a short time without the need for unnecessarily heating the entire secondary coil, and to provide an in vivo indwelling member having the secondary coil shape which is different from the conventional one.SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing an in vivo indwelling member includes: a process of forming a primary coil by winding a metal wire rod and a process of forming the secondary coil by irradiating the primary coil with laser energy.
