A bird feeder (300) comprising: a seed reservoir (302) having a feed port (312) therein through which birds can access seed held within the reservoir (302)； a perch (318) positioned adjacent the feed port (312) and extending outwardly from the reservoir wall； and an adjustable port element (400) rotatable with respect to the reservoir wall and movably coupled to said perch (318). The adjustable port element (400) is configured to rotate between a first position in which the port element (400) allows birds to access feed through a feed port only while hanging upside down from the perch (318), and a second position in which the port element (400) allows birds to access feed while standing in an upright position on the perch (318).
