PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for a feeding damage preventing device, a feeding damage preventing device and construction methods for a feeding damage prevention, where for an extended period of time, a space for plant growth can be secured stably and the device hardly sinks in ground, and a transportation cost can be reduced.SOLUTION: The spacer is interposed between a net body 1 arranged in a state of floating from ground G in a protection area and the ground G, and secures a plant growing space S between the net body and the ground G.
