PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology advantageous for improving quality of an image in a configuration for performing AEC.SOLUTION: A radiographic apparatus 10 includes a sensor array 11 in which a plurality of sensors capable of detecting a radioactive ray transmitting a subject are arrayed, a reading part 13 for performing signal reading from the sensor array 11, and a controller 16. Of the plurality of sensors, the controller 16 sets a sensor corresponding to a region of interest of object sites of the subject as a first sensor, sets a sensor corresponding to a region other than the region of interest of the subject as a second sensor, reads signals of the first sensor and the second sensor from the reading part 13 during the irradiation of the radioactive ray, ends the irradiation of the radioactive ray at least based on a signal value of the first sensor, and performs signal reading by the reading part from the sensor array 11 on condition that the signal value of the first sensor is within a first reference range, and the signal value of the second sensor is within a second reference range which is wider than the first reference range and includes the first reference range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】AECを行う構成において画像の品質を向上させるのに有利な技術を提供する。【解決手段】被写体を透過した放射線を検出可能な複数のセンサが配列されたセンサアレイ11と、センサアレイ11から信号読出を行う読出部13と、コントローラ16とを備える放射線撮像装置10であって、コントローラ16は、複数のセンサのうち、被写体の対象部位のうちの関心領域に対応するセンサを第1センサとして設定し、被写体のうちの関心領域以外の領域に対応するセンサを第2センサとして設定し、放射線の照射中に、第1センサおよび第2センサの信号を読出部13により読み出し、少なくとも第1センサの信号値に基づいて放射線の照射を終了させ、第1センサの信号値が第1基準範囲内となると共に第2センサの信号値が第1基準範囲より広く且つ第1基準範囲を含む第2基準範囲内となる条件で、センサアレイ11から読出部により信号読出を行う。【選択図】図1
