This invention relates to the preparation of veterinary anthelminticformulations including triclabendazole in solution, particularly for thetreatment of parasitic infections such as fasciolisis, and particularly foradministration to an animal in the form of a pour-on. The solutions includetriclabendazole dissolved in a solvent system including at least one solventselected from 2-pyrrolidone and liquid polyethylene glycol. Additionalsolvents may also be included. The present invention is advantageous astriclabendazole can be included in solution up to a concentration of about 60%w/v allowing for an effective dose to be delivered to the animal in a volumeof 25 ml or less.
